Just a few simple ingredients, mix everything together and you’ve a tray of super tasty treats.
225g (8oz) Ballyrashane butter
225g (8oz) Demerara sugar
75g (3oz) golden syrup
275g (10oz) of White’s oats
Melt butter in a pan along with the sugar & syrup, & then stir in the oats. Mix well. When mixture has cooled slightly add 100g of choc chips (optional but lovely if you have a sweet tooth!). Turn the mixture into a prepared tin and bake at 160 degrees C for 35mins.
Then simply savour with a cuppa 😋. Delicious !
